Finolex Industries' earnings zoomed 55.96% for the quarter ended Dec.06, increasing to Rs 228.84 million compared with Rs 146.73 million, a year ago.
Net sales for the quarter rose 68.64% to Rs 2,946.5 million compared with Rs 1,747.23 million, a year ago. The total income for the quarter rose 73.82% to Rs 3,136.55 million compared with Rs 1,804.44 million, a year ago.
FIL is a manufacturer of rigid PVC pipes and fittings. It is a part of the Finolex Group with interests in energy, irrigation, power, petrochemicals and telecom. It manufactures a range of suspension and paste grade PVC at its 130,000 tpa petrochemical plant at Ratnagiri, set up with a process license from Hoechst of Germany.
