Foster Wheeler Ltd. has been authorized by ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. to proceed with the early phase of the front-end engineering design (FEED) for certain downstream units and associated plant infrastructure of the Singapore Parallel Train (SPT) project. The possible new complex currently under study by Foster Wheeler, includes an ethylene cracker and downstream plants for the production of ethylene and propylene derivatives. The Foster Wheeler team has been authorized, under its contract, to undertake the FEED of selected process units and the overall SPT project infrastructure.
