Plastics extrusion equipment provider Gloucester Engineering have received an order from MALPACK LTD, located in Toronto, Canada, for the purchase of their 5th Cast Stretch Film Line. The line is scheduled to be delivered at the end of 2009. This Cast Stretch Film Line will increase Malpack's capacity by 43.6 mln pounds per year, making it the highest capacity cast stretch film line to be installed in Canada. The line will be the first in North America to utilize NanoLayerTM Feedblock technology from Cloeren Incorporated.
The line will be capable of producing stretch film for hand and machine wrap for thicknesses ranging from 40 to 200 gauge (10 to 50 micron).
