Cytec Industries has completed commissioning of a US$18 mln production unit at its Kalamazoo, Mich., site that will produce key components in the production of high-performance Cytec composites. Cytec composites are used by some of the most demanding applications in commercial and military aviation because of the materials' light weight, strength, durability and resistance to corrosion and high temperatures.
