NOVA Chemicals Corporation has acquired exclusive rights to a groundbreaking expandable polystyrene (EPS) manufacturing technology- IMage™ technology, from Autonational BV. IMage™ technology is used to manufacture cups and containers that offer outstanding graphics and superb hot and cold insulation.
The performance attributes include excellent rigidity and strength, making it ideal for end-use applications ranging from hot and cold beverage cups to containers for ice cream or soup. IMage technology provides the elegance, smooth differentiation.
NOVA plans to introduce IMage technology to growing North American markets during the Q4 2005. Autonational will be the exclusive manufacturer of molding equipment utilizing NOVA Chemicals' IMage technology.
