Thailand's largest petrochemical company PTT Global Chemical PCL plans to invest US$288.2 mln to expand capacity of linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), as per Reuters. The expansion will be financed from the company's own cash flow as well as loans. With this, the company will double LLDPE production capacity to 800,000 tons. It is expected to start operation in 2018.
