Rosneft undertakes feasibility study for petrochem complex in East Russia

Rosneft, Russia's government-owned oil company is presently undertaking pre-project feasibility study for a petrochemical complex in close proximity to Nakhodka, a harbour near Vladivostok (Eastern Russia), as per regional media reports. The complex projected to start work in Oct 2009, will have a proposed oil refining capacity of 20 mln tpa along with 6 mln tpa downstream facilities for PE and PP each.
