The South India state of Tamil Nadu seems to be gearing up to revive unfinished petrochemical projects in the state, including proposals like the LNG terminal and petrochemical hub at Ennore, petrochemical complex at Nagapattinam, natural gas-based power plants, exploration for oil and gas on Tamil Nadu coast. This plan received an impetus at the dedication ceremony of the 683-km Chennai-Tiruchi-Madurai petroleum products pipeline (CTMPL) of Indian Oil Corporation.
