Texas Petrochemicals has announced the commencement of a major project to diversify and strengthen the Company's product portfolio at its Baytown, Texas operations. Upon completion, the Company's Baytown Operations will include a twin reactor, world-scale propylene derivatives plant that will produce nonene and propylene tetramer as well as polymer gasoline and propane. The project is scheduled for completion in Q1-2007.
Majority of the facility's output is already committed to customers under long-term contracts.
