Work at Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Ltd’s Lepetkata gas cracker project has gathered considerable momentum during the past few months after nearly two years of tardy progress. Going by the progress, the project should be completed by July 2013 with commercial production expected to start in H2-2013. The delays have pushed up project cost to Rs 9,285 crore from the original Rs 5,460 crore.
