Algeria plans massive investment in hydrocarbons

Algeria plans to raise its investment in hydrocarbons to US$33 billion in the next five years, including US$8 billion of direct foreign investments, which will include, for the first time, the establishment of 10 petrochemical units. For the hydrocarbons projects, the country is planning to tie up with partners from Australia, UK or Canada.
