BP to invest further in Malaysia

Petroleum and chemicals giant BP wants to invest further to expand its business in Malaysia, particularly in the petrochemical sector. BP has so far invested over RM7bilin four petrochemical plants in Malaysia: three in Kertih (Terengganu) and one in Kuantan (Pahang) - in joint venture with Petroliam Nasional Bhd. BP also controls over 30% of the local lubricants market. Its plant in Port Klang produces the Castrol, BP and Duckhams brands of lubricants.
