The construction of Haldia-Paradip crude pipeline has been accorded top priority and the proposed petrochemical complex at Paradip, of which the pipeline is a part, will be completed on time.
The Paradip project has been upgraded from a refinery to a petrochemical complex, and the capacity has been increased from 9 million tpa to 15 million tpa, at an investment outlay of Rs 25,000 crore.
