Rising oil prices continue to exert great pressure on feedstock prices, leading polymer majors to consider prices. With effect from 1 August 2006, Dow Europe is to increase prices for all of its PE resins by EUR 80/ton across Europe. The hike applies to commodity LDPE and HDPE resins, along with the specialities Dowlex, Attanet (ULDPE) copolymers, Elite enhanced polyethylene resins and Aspun fibre grade resins.
