With effect from 1 June 2006, Dow Europe has placed another hike on the table for all of its PS products, including GPPS, HIPS and advanced technology resins. This is in addition to the EUR 50/t announced earlier, bringing the total increase to EUR 100/t. The chief reason for the hikes is that styrene and raw material prices have substantially risen again over the recent period and are very high with respect to PS production
