A meeting of the equity shareholders of Indian Petrochemicals Corp (IPCL) has given approval for amalgamation of six polyfibres companies without any modification.
A few months ago, this announcement was made in the annual general meeting of IPCL. The companies that were formally amalgamated are Apollo Fibres, Central India Polyesters, India Polyfibres, Orissa Polyfibres, Recron Synthetics and Silvassa Industries.
