IPLEX 07 Exhibition formally launched at Hyderabad

Andhra Pradesh Plastics Manufacturers Association which has more than 500 members from the state of A.P., is jointly with other southern state associations is organizing an International Exhibition on Plastics during April 2007 at Hitex Exhibition Center of Hyderabad. This exhibition is will have more than 300 companies participating from India as well as abroad, mainly from Germany, Italy, China, Taiwan and other countries. The exhibition will showcase latest Machinery, Technology, Material and Finished Goods. The IPLEX 07 Exhibition was formally launched by Sri K.R.Suresh Reddy, Honourable Speaker of A.P.Legislative Assembly at a grand function at Hotel Taj Banjara, Hyderabad. The booking of stalls commenced thereafter, and received a tremendous response from entrepreneurs of Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Guest in his address appreciated the efforts of the association in bringing an Mega event to the city of Hyderabad and expressed hope that this opportunity available at the doorstep will benefit the industry of Andhra Pradesh and south India. He emphasized that the Industry should realize its social responsibility and should contribute and commit to safeguard the environment. He also welcomed the introduction of Plasticulture methods in agriculture and the vast benefits of it to the farmer and also to the nation in form of saving of precious water. Sri Anil Reddy, President of Andhra Pradesh Plastic Manufacturers Association welcomed everybody to participate in Iplex07, and assured that no stone will be left unturned in making the event a mega event, which will put Hyderabad on the global map. Dr. Sushil Verma, Director General of Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET) and Chairman of IPLEX07 presided over the function and informed about the role of CIPET in promoting Micro Irrigation Project in Andhra Pradesh using plasticulture techniques. Sri Mahesh Shah, President of Plastindia Foundation was the Guest of Honour and promised to share all expertise it has in organizing International Exhibitions. Sri Anil Nagda, Convenor of IPLEX 07 informed that the exhibition has generated lot of interest in the plastic industry and hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors from around the nation and abroad are expected to converge in Hyderabad, and urged the entrepreneurs of A.P. to take advantage of this.
