NPC, a subsidiary of Iran's petrochemical giant NPC International, has agreed to infuse US$100 million into th erevival of Bataan Polyethylene Corporation. NPC Alliance Corporation has signed a joint venture agreement with National Petrochemical Company (NPC) of Iran to recommission and restart the commercial operation of a US$350 million polyethylene plant in Bataan. The polyethylene plant uses Innovene gas phase process and has an annual capacity to produce 275,000 metric tpa of HDPE.
