Sabic, during its discussions with the Algerian company Sonatrach, seems interested in a partnership in integrated petrochem projects announced by the Algerian company early this year. Th second quarter of this year will unveil the petrochemical plan adopted by Sonatrach.
The minister of the energy had declared in early February 2006 that the country's first coordinated plan that allows the development of petrochemical industrywould be announced in due course.
