World crude oil prices rise over US$58

Traders are still concerned about the possibilities that Iran's oil exports would halt if the United Nations Teheran an international sanctions for its nuclear activities. As traders continue with concerns on the scenario in Iran, world crude oil prices rose. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in March, spiked to US$58.46 per barrel in closing trade. In London, the price of Brent North Sea crude for April delivery closed at US$58.79 per barrel.
